Skin Care & Treatment in the 60′s

The effects of gravity, first noticeable in the 40s, are much more obvious in the 60s – especially on the eyelids, neck, jaw-line, and other areas of sagging skin. It’s unlikely that any topical treatments (like creams or serums) can improve the appearance of sagging skin, which is why a number of women who want to treat this problem turn to cosmetic procedures Normal and normal-to-dry skin types are most common in women in their 60s. But if you’ve suffered with oily skin for decades, this may be the time to be  thankful for it, as you will notice fewer lines and wrinkles than a woman who has had dry skin for most of her life. However, any wrinkles and lines that you first noticed some years earlier will now appear deeper. In addition, age spots are more noticeable once you reach this time of your life.

Our customer’s story: Who am I kidding?  I’m in my sixties, and my grandkids are in college now.  I don’t have any qualms about looking old.  As far as I’m concerned, I’ve lived a full life, and I’ve earned a couple of wrinkles.  However, while I wear my age now with a bit of pride, what I don’t want is look bad.  I’ve earned a couple of wrinkles, but it’s not like I want them all over my face.  I’m in my mid-sixties, and I thought skin care at this point would be useless, like a 70 year old smoker quitting.

I was googling around, did some research, and came to Radiant.  What I surprised to learn was, there were some great treatment options for women in my age bracket.  I talked to Dr. Hunter to see what was realistic for someone with my background and age.  I found her informative and well versed.  I won’t bore you gals with the full story, but I started a skin care plan routine with them, and I’m pleased with the results.  My facebook pix look better now.
